MedStep AI — Terms of Use

These Terms apply to MedStep AI, operated by MC SANTE PLUS SERVICES LLC. By using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, discontinue use.

Educational purpose

MedStep AI provides practice questions, flashcards, scores, and optional AI-generated study material for adults aged 18 and older. It is an independent educational aid, not a medical device, healthcare service, clinical decision tool, or substitute for authoritative references or professional training. It does not provide diagnosis, treatment, patient-specific recommendations, or emergency services. We do not guarantee exam results, scores, completeness, or accuracy. Verify explanations with current authoritative sources.

Free access and availability

Current study features are free and supported by advertising. There is no RevenueCat purchase flow or subscription requirement in this version. Online generation is subject to free daily usage and shared capacity limits, service availability, and abuse prevention. These limits do not require payment to unlock; bundled offline practice remains available. Internet, device, or carrier charges are your responsibility. Changes to this app do not automatically cancel subscriptions purchased in older versions; manage any previous subscription through your Google Play account or contact support.

AI content and responsible use

AI output may be incorrect, incomplete, biased, or out of date. It is provided for study and must not be relied on for patient care. Do not enter patient information, private records, harmful instructions, or material you lack permission to use. Report questionable AI content using the in-app report control or contact support. Do not misuse the service, automate abusive requests, circumvent capacity controls, attempt unauthorized access, or interfere with others' use.

Guest identity and rankings

Online features use a Firebase guest identity. Your local nickname does not establish a public account or guarantee recovery after clearing app storage. Leaderboard scores are client-reported and are not verified measures of competence or credentials. We may remove abusive or invalid entries.

Content and third parties

Use app content for personal educational purposes. Ownership and third-party rights remain with their respective holders. Do not republish or commercially redistribute content without appropriate permission. Links, advertisements, and external services are governed by their providers' terms. MedStep AI is not affiliated with or endorsed by USMLE, NBME, FSMB, or their sponsors. References to examinations and medical subjects identify educational context only.

Read the MedStep AI Privacy Policy for information on local study data, online topics, guest identifiers, advertising, reports, and deletion options.

Disclaimers and limits

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the app is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted service, fitness for a particular purpose, or error-free content. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from app use. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or liabilities that applicable law does not allow us to exclude. Stop using the app if it is unsuitable for your needs.

Changes and support
